ThriVe® St. Louis is a Christ-centered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that empowers young men and women to make life-affirming, esteemable and healthy decisions about spirituality, sex, pregnancy, and relationships.
Through our pregnancy medical centers and Best ChoiceSM program, we provide:
- medical services related to pregnancy and sexual health
- information, counseling and support to individuals facing an unplanned pregnancy or coping with a past abortion or pregnancy loss
- sexual integrity education in schools, organizations and other appropriate venues
- equipping services to individuals and organizations

THRIVE® FOUNDER
Thirty years ago, God led Mary Nelson to embrace her calling after watching Dr. Francis Schaeffer’s breakthrough film, What Happened to the Human Race? He asked her to protect His children, preserve His holy lineage and unify His descendants in action to fulfill this noble cause. In launching Thrive®‘s mission, she has played a compelling role in the direct rescue of nearly 20,000 children.
THRIVE® PRESIDENT
President of THRIVE® St. Louis, one of the nations leading Pregnancy Resource Centers, Bridget VanMeans brings over 15 years of cutting-edge ministry experience. She is known for her radical faith and bold pro-life stance. Having her early faith develop at the feet of prominent pastors in famous megachurch settings, Bridget draws from her electrifying personal testimony and her relationship with Christ to inspire others to pursue God with all of their hearts.
She is an accomplished management professional with over 20 years of experience leading an array of high profile corporate and faith based projects. Bridget is a highly sought after management change agent. Nationally known for her ability to step into big stakes “turn-around” and startup projects, she possesses a proven track record of success under daunting circumstances.
She brings a richly faithful and dynamic spiritual paradigm to all that she does, is a powerful motivational and inspirational speaker and media source, and has inspired hundreds of thousands of people with her transparency, relevance and humor.
